Ian Brown

Ian Brown is an influential English musician, singer, and songwriter known for his foundational role in the alternative rock band The Stone Roses, and for his subsequent impactful solo career which has produced multiple chart-topping albums and singles. After co-founding The Stone Roses in 1983, Ian Brown rapidly established himself as a pivotal force in alternative rock. The band’s self-titled debut album, released in 1989, garnered widespread critical acclaim and was later named the best British album of all time in a 2004 poll.
