Intervals is a renowned Canadian instrumental progressive metal band formed in Toronto in 2011, showcasing the exceptional talent of guitarist Aaron Marshall. The band quickly gained recognition with the release of their debut EP, “The Space Between,” in 2011, which was recorded in Marshall’s basement and mixed by Adam “Nolly” Getgood of Periphery. This initial project laid the groundwork for their unique sound, attracting attention and leading to successful tours across Canada and the United States alongside notable acts such as Animals as Leaders and Protest the Hero.
In 2012, Intervals released their second EP, “In Time,” featuring guest solos from prominent musicians like Olly Steele and David Maxim Micic.
