Hot Chip

Hot Chip is an English synth-pop band known for their innovative blend of electronic music, alternative dance, and disco, consistently producing acclaimed albums and performing globally. After releasing their critically acclaimed second album, The Warning in 2006, Hot Chip cemented their status as innovative leaders in electronic music. The album was not only shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize but was also honored as Mixmag’s Album of the Year, yielding two UK top 40 singles, ‘Over and Over’ and ‘Boy from School.’ ‘Over and Over’ was further recognized by NME as the best single of 2006. The English synth-pop band, initially conceived as a recording project in 2000 by Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard, expanded to include Owen Clarke, Felix Martin, and Al Doyle.

Looking ahead, Hot Chip is set to release their highly anticipated greatest hits album, Joy in Repetition, in 2025. This collection will include a brand-new track titled ‘Devotion,’ further solidifying their enduring impact and continuous creative output.
