Joyce Muniz

Joyce Muniz is a Brazilian-Austrian DJ, singer, and music producer who has made significant strides in the electronic music scene. After moving to Vienna in her teens, she began her career at the renowned Flex club, where she honed her skills as a DJ and MC. Her early work laid the foundation for her eclectic sound, blending influences from drum & bass, house, and techno, which she showcased in her residency and various performances across Europe.

In 2010, Muniz gained recognition with her collaboration with Austrian rapper Skero, reaching the Austrian charts with the hit “Kabinenparty.” This success propelled her into the spotlight, leading to collaborations with prominent labels such as Exploited, Get Physical, and Permanent Vacation. Her debut album, “Made In Vienna,” showcased her unique fusion of Brazilian sounds with contemporary electronic music, establishing her as a formidable force in the industry.

Joyce’s second album, “Zeitkapsel,” further solidified her reputation, featuring tracks that reflect her diverse musical journey. The album includes hits like “Arrivederci Bella,” which marked her return to rapping in Portuguese. Muniz’s innovative approach to music production has also led her to work with various artists, including collaborations with Louie Austen and remixes for renowned names like Paul Simon and Claptone.
