After securing a coveted Saturday Night Residency at the legendary Studio 54, Kenny Carpenter established himself as a preeminent DJ whose early career shaped the sound of New York City nightlife. Carpenter’s journey began in 1975 as a lighting technician at iconic venues like Galaxy 21, and continued at The Inferno from 1975 to 1980, where he honed his craft alongside luminaries such as Walter Gibbons.
