Kiko Franco, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, relocated to Santa Catarina at the age of 14. His career in electronic music began as a resident DJ at P12 and Pacha in Jurerê Internacional. Since then, he has expanded his musical presence globally, performing in North America, Europe, and Asia. Franco has consistently gained recognition through official remixes for established artists.
His remix collaborations include a partnership with Cat Dealers for ZHU’s “In The Morning,” a remix for Di Ferrero (NX Zero)’s “Com Você é Melhor,” and a remix for the global hit “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William. He also produced a remix for “Deixe-Me Ir” by the Brazilian rap group 1Kilo, and a bootleg for Desiigner’s “Panda” which became popular across Brazil. His work has received support from notable artists such as Tiësto, Laidback Luke, EDX, Sam Feldt, Vintage Culture, and ZHU. Kiko Franco is currently one of the top streaming electronic music artists on Spotify, with over 100 million plays across various platforms.
In 2021, Kiko Franco’s remix of “Love Tonight” with Vintage Culture reached No. 1 on Beatport’s Afro House Chart and became the 5th best-selling Afro House track of all time. This track was also named the 2021 “Summer Anthem” by BBC Radio 1. He contributed to a historic release on Defected Records, collaborating with BLOND:ISH and Moby on a new version of Moby’s “Natural Blues,” which he performed live alongside BLOND:ISH at Pacha Ibiza. In 2024, he launched his own label, AURUM Records, with the debut release “LOW,” which quickly surpassed 520,000 streams and entered the Top 100.
