Pendulum is an Australian electronic rock band known for its distinctive sound, blending electronic music with hard rock, and has achieved significant chart success and critical acclaim over two decades. After releasing their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ in 2005, which charted in both Australia and the United Kingdom and achieved Gold certification in Australia, Pendulum established themselves as pioneers in electronic rock. The band, formed by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul ‘El Hornet’ Harding, gained early attention with their track ‘Vault’ in 2003 on 31 Records, leading to their relocation to London later that year and a record deal with Breakbeat Kaos. Following ‘Hold Your Colour’s’ success, Pendulum expanded its live lineup in 2006, transitioning into a sextet for full-band performances.
Continuing their prolific output, the band debuted new track ‘Napalm’ during their UK and European tour in early 2024, subsequently releasing it as a single. Pendulum is set to release their highly anticipated fourth full-length LP, ‘Inertia’, in 2025, a landmark year that will also see them headline their biggest-ever live show to a 65,000-capacity crowd at Milton Keynes Bowl.
