Timmy Regisford is a DJ and producer known for his contributions to soulful house music, having transitioned from radio and A&R executive roles to pioneering club nights. After establishing the internationally acclaimed Club Shelter nightclub residency in New York City in 1991, Timmy Regisford became instrumental in pioneering the soulful house music sound through his signature extended sets, blending Afro-jazz, Latin-Jazz, house, disco, funk, and R&B. The Club Shelter nights quickly gained international renown, cementing Regisford’s status as a visionary DJ and a defining force in the genre. Prior to this pivotal venture, Regisford had already built a significant foundation in the music industry, beginning his career in music production in 1981.

His extensive contributions as a DJ, producer, and remixer continue through high-profile collaborations with global icons such as Sade, Madonna, and Chaka Khan. Regisford maintains a robust international presence, actively touring the world and delivering his distinct sound to audiences across continents, consistently shaping and enriching the global electronic music landscape.
