Ladytron is an influential English electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999, consisting of members Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo, Daniel Hunt, and Reuben Wu. The band made a significant impact on the music scene with their debut single “He Took Her to a Movie,” which showcased their unique blend of new wave, synth-pop, and electropop. Their early work laid the foundation for a successful career, leading to the release of their debut album, *604*, in 2001, which received critical acclaim and established them as a prominent force in electronic music.

Following their debut, Ladytron continued to evolve their sound with subsequent albums, including *Light & Magic* (2002) and *Witching Hour* (2005).
