Michael Anthony Woods, an English producer, DJ, and remixer, has significantly contributed to the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene, specializing in progressive house, electro house, and trance. His career began gaining notable momentum in 2000 under the moniker Warrior, where his debut single “Warrior” achieved a No. 1 ranking on the UK Club Chart and reached No. 19 in the top 40. The subsequent track, “Voodoo,” also entered the top 40, solidifying his early presence in the electronic music landscape. Expanding his artistic range, Woods also released ambient trance singles through Lost Language under the name Accadia, showcasing his versatility.
His widespread recognition grew with the release of “If U Want Me” in 2003, a collaboration featuring Australian model Imogen Bailey, and “Solex (Close to the Edge)” in the same year, which included vocals by Juliette Jaimes. Both singles were accompanied by music videos and charted on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at No. 46 and No. 52 respectively. In 2005, he collaborated with Judge Jules on “So Special,” further extending his reach in the dance music community. A significant career highlight includes producing “Changed the Way You Kiss Me” for artist Example, which debuted at No. 1 on the UK singles charts in June 2011. Woods’ sister, Marcella Woods, has also been involved in his projects, notably with Out of Office and on subsequent releases. Currently, Michael Woods operates under the project name “Offaiah,” a phonetic play on “All Fire,” continuing his evolution as a musician and producer.
