Alexander “ALX” Fike was raised alongside his brother, Dominic Fike, by a single mother in Naples, Florida. During their childhood, they established a strong bond, with Dominic taking on a father figure role. Music became an early shared interest; Dominic received a guitar, and they later used GarageBand to create humorous songs and accompanying music videos, with ALX contributing hooks and vocals. This early creative partnership laid the foundation for their future individual and collaborative musical endeavors, even though they considered some of their initial output to be “fucked up songs” from a less “PC” era.

ALX developed his musical talents over the years, focusing on vocals and songwriting. He released his debut body of work, ‘The Fantasy,’ on May 27, 2020, which included singles such as “Misses FL” and “Love on Top.” In October 2021, he prepared to release his debut pop project, ‘YES.’ ALX has also made contributions to his brother’s career, including providing the idea for Dominic Fike’s Apple logo face tattoo and directing some of his music videos. He has also been noted for his unique musical style, which he humorously described as a “rebirth of Ariana and 50 [Cent], if they had a baby.”

Beyond his music, ALX has established a personal life that includes having a dog and a baby. He maintains an independent approach to the music industry, opting to build his own studio to record music without excessive external involvement. He has expressed a desire for music industry recognition, specifically aiming to be featured on ‘Rolling Stone.’ His career reflects a progression from early musical exploration with his brother to establishing his own identity as a recording artist, while also continuing their collaborative relationship.
