Sohn first captured critical attention with his debut EP, The Wheel, released on November 5, 2012, through the Aesop label, earning acclaim for its distinctive atmospheric electronic soundscapes. This followed his introduction of the SOHN moniker on Soundcloud in August 2010, which featured early tracks such as ‘Warnings’ and ‘Oscillate.’ His career trajectory accelerated significantly in April 2013 when he signed with the renowned 4AD label. His inaugural official release with 4AD, the single ‘Bloodflows,’ immediately garnered widespread praise, notably from Pitchfork, which hailed it as ‘a vocal showcase and SOHN’s most sorrowful, powerful success yet.’ This momentum culminated in the release of his acclaimed debut album, Tremors, on April 7, 2014, a critically lauded collection that featured standout tracks like ‘Artifice.’ Demonstrating his versatility, Sohn relocated to Los Angeles in 2015, expanding his work as a producer for artists including Aquilo, Banks, and Kwabs. He then moved to Sonoma to dedicate himself to the creation of his next album.

Most recently, Sohn unveiled his fourth studio album, Albadas (Dawn Songs), on October 10, 2025. This instrumental electronic record represents a profound artistic statement and a significant evolution in his discography. Conceived as a personal morning ritual, the album offers a unique exploration of expression without words. Albadas (Dawn Songs) is available in limited vinyl and CD pressings, emphasizing its exclusive and artful presentation to listeners worldwide.
