Addison Grace

Addison Grace, born on March 21, 2001, in California and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, developed an early passion for music. Encouraged by their single mother, Grace participated in various performing arts activities, including choir, acting, and dance. At age 13, after their brother brought home a ukulele, Grace began creating original music, inspired by YouTubers using the instrument. Prior to achieving widespread recognition in the music industry, Grace worked in retail as a cashier and store manager, performing at local coffee shops.

Grace initiated their musical career by establishing a YouTube channel in 2017, where they posted ukulele covers and original songs. Their presence expanded to Instagram in 2018 and TikTok in 2019. A pivotal moment occurred when a Christmas cover featuring a Cavetown sweatshirt caught the attention of Alternate Side management. This led to a collaboration with Cavetown, who produced Grace’s debut single, “Sugar Rush,” released in 2020. Shortly after, Grace signed with Warner Music Group’s Level Music, marking a significant step in their professional journey. In 2023, Grace released their debut album, “Diving Lessons,” via AWAL, co-produced by Cavetown.

Throughout their career, Grace has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health awareness, often incorporating these themes into their music and social media content. They openly identify as bisexual, non-binary, and transmasculine, using he/they pronouns. Grace also revealed they are autistic and have ADHD, addressing these personal aspects publicly. Their social media platforms, particularly TikTok, have been instrumental in building a large following, showcasing their music, personal journey, and humorous content. Grace has toured with notable artists such as Cavetown, Tessa Violet, Penelope Scott, and Chloe Moriondo, further expanding their reach and influence.
