Ben Goldsmith

Ben Goldsmith, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, released an EP of original music early in his career, performing all instruments himself. His formidable talent was further developed through jazz guitar studies at the Manhattan School of Music and the Mannes School of Music, and through mentorship with Berklee Professor Tomo Fujita, whose notable students include John Mayer. Goldsmith toured with the School of Rock All Stars, securing a coveted slot at Lollapalooza. During the 2020 lockdown, he focused on honing his production and songwriting skills, leading to a collaboration with Nashville producer Brad Jones, who provided guidance in the recording world and fostered Goldsmith’s songwriting partnerships.

A pivotal moment occurred in the summer of 2021 following a standout performance at Whiskey Jam in Nashville, which garnered attention from multiple record labels. The same year, Goldsmith secured a deal with Sony Music Nashville and Universal Music Publishing as an artist/songwriter. He was then designated as the flagship artist for Sony Nashville’s Free Flight Records, an imprint dedicated to pop and singer-songwriter genres. Demonstrating significant commitment to his burgeoning music career, Goldsmith deferred admission to NYU’s Clive Davis program to relocate to Nashville.

In 2024, Goldsmith released the single “Crazy” ahead of his sophomore album, “The Start Of Something Beautiful,” which launched on September 13. This latest album features collaborations with acclaimed producers Rick Nowels and Alex Hope. Beyond traditional releases, Goldsmith has embraced innovative projects, integrating his music into the popular online game Roblox and participating in immersive live recording sessions with Sony Electronics, underscoring his forward-thinking approach to engaging audiences.
