Ah Moon is a highly recognized singer and songwriter from Myanmar, known for her contributions to pop music and her advocacy for social change. After becoming a founding member of Me N Ma Girls in 2010, Myanmar’s pioneering all-girl pop band, Ah Moon quickly rose to national and international prominence. Prior to this, she won Best Talent in the Miss Christmas Pageant in Yangon (2009) and the Miss Alliance Francaise Pageant (2009), held by the French Embassy. As The Tiger Girls, the group released their debut album, ‘Year of the Tiger Girls’, in 2011.
Beyond her musical and acting achievements, Ah Moon has consistently leveraged her platform for social advocacy, collaborating with musicians worldwide to create impactful music and raise awareness and funds for various social causes. This commitment was evident in 2020 when she collaborated with Lasse Melting on the single ‘Each Other’s Heroes’, followed by ‘I Can’t Shut My Brain Down’ in 2023, featuring Sigrid Haanshus and Ivan Blomqvist. Most recently, Ah Moon released her compilation album, ‘Chronicles X’, in 2024, further solidifying her diverse and evolving discography. Her proficiency in five languages, combined with her extensive career in music and film, positions her as a highly marketable talent with significant global appeal for diverse projects.
