Anderson .Paak solidified his position in the music industry following his significant contributions to six songs on Dr. Dre’s acclaimed album ‘Compton’ in 2015, leading to his signing with Aftermath Entertainment in 2016. Earlier in his career, Paak released his debut mixtape, ‘O.B.E. Vol.

1,’ in 2012, followed by his debut album, ‘Venice,’ in 2014. Building on his momentum, his critically acclaimed second album, ‘Malibu,’ released in 2016, earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album in 2017, alongside a nomination for Best New Artist. In August 2016, his NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert with his band, The Free Nationals, became one of the series’ most popular, further cementing his reputation for dynamic live performances. His prolific artistic output continued with the release of two more albums executive produced by Dr.

Dre: ‘Oxnard’ in 2018 and ‘Ventura’ in 2019. The non-album single ‘Bubblin” earned Paak his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in 2019. The following year, he received two additional Grammy Awards for his work on ‘Ventura’ (Best R&B Album) and for the track ‘Come Home’ (Best R&B Performance) in 2020. Beyond his recording career, Paak established The Brandon Anderson Foundation in 2016, a non-profit dedicated to supporting arts education and community initiatives, which annually hosts the `.Paak House` benefit concert.

He is credited as co-writer and director for the upcoming film ‘K-Pops!’ demonstrating his expansion into cinematic storytelling. Additionally, his acclaimed duo NxWorries, with producer Knxwledge, released their much-anticipated album ‘Why Lawd?’ in 2024, signaling continued innovation and collaboration within his diverse musical portfolio.
