Arash Buana

Arash Buana is an Indonesian multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter specializing in the Asian Pop subgenre. His musical journey led him to sign with Jakarta-based label Alfa Records after establishing himself as a child singer. He has since cultivated a significant following both in Indonesia and internationally, known for his ear-catching melodies, emotive lyrics, and vocal delivery. His work often explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery, presented through a blend of traditional Indonesian elements and contemporary pop.

Throughout his career, Arash Buana has released significant projects and singles. His second full-length album, “life update,” released in 2022, featured 11 songs. This album was preceded by the singles ‘i really do love her <3', 'friends', and 'take me home'. The focus track from the album, 'hey, i'm tired', was noted for its personal yet initially fictional narrative that later mirrored real-life events. The album's lyrical content is described as sentimental and psychologically introspective, addressing trauma, early career experiences, and acceptance. The creation of "life update" involved collaborations with musicians such as Farrel Cahyono, Petra Sihombing, Rendy Pandugo, and Will Mara.He has also participated in various music events and festivals, including Pestapora and the Jakarta Fair. Other notable appearances include performances at Lippo Mall Kemang and Bintaro Xchange Mall. One of his significant performances occurred at the Java Jazz Festival. His collaborations include the song "if u could see me cryin' in my room" with Raissa Anggiani in 2019, and "Hilang" with Lalahuta in 2017. These collaborations highlight his ability to connect with other artists and create impactful music.
