ASAP Ferg, a prominent rapper and member of the A$AP Mob, has established a significant presence in music and fashion, working with major brands and achieving notable chart success. After achieving early entrepreneurial success with his high-end fashion line, Devoni Clothing, worn by celebrities such as Chris Brown and Swizz Beatz in 2005, Asap Ferg transitioned his creative focus to music, joining the acclaimed hip-hop collective A$AP Mob in 2009. His solo career took off with the release of his debut single ‘Work’ in 2012. The subsequent remix in 2013, featuring A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, French Montana, and Trinidad James, propelled him into mainstream recognition, marking his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieving triple platinum certification.

Ferg also demonstrated his directorial talent by helming Future’s music video ‘Thought It Was a Drought’ in 2015. In 2016, Ferg released his second studio album, ‘Always Strive and Prosper,’ which also achieved strong chart performance. The single ‘New Level’ from the album was certified gold by the RIAA, and he embarked on the ‘Turnt & Burnt’ tour alongside Playboi Carti. His 2017 single, ‘Plain Jane,’ became a significant hit, reaching the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Under his new moniker, FERG released his first single ‘MDMX’ in 2024, followed by his sixth album, ‘Darold,’ further cementing his status as a multifaceted artist with a continually evolving sound.
