With the release of their debut album, Happy to be Here, in 2019, the Brooklyn-based indie rock band Barrie immediately garnered attention for its distinctive left-of-center pop sensibilities and dream-pop qualities. Fronted by Barrie Lindsay on vocals, the groups unique sound is further shaped by Dominic Apa on drums, Spurge Carter on keys, Sabine Holler on bass, and Noah Prebish on guitar and synth. Building on the foundation of their first release, Barrie continued its prolific output with the critically noted sophomore album, Barbara, in 2022.
