KiDis career launched in 2015 when he won the MTN Hitmaker competition, a pivotal moment that led to his signing with Lynx Entertainment. He rapidly rose to prominence in 2017 with the release of his self-composed, arranged, and produced single ‘Say You Love Me.’ That same year, his track ‘Odo’ swiftly became a chart-topper, further bolstered by a December 2017 remix featuring Nigerian artists Davido and Mayorkun. He continued this success with ‘Adiepena’ in April 2018, and was nominated for six Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2018, ultimately winning ‘High-life Song of the Year’ at the event. ‘The Golden Boy’ was honored with the ‘Album of the Year Award’ at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
