BeBe & CeCe Winans are a celebrated American gospel and R&B duo, consisting of siblings BeBe and CeCe Winans. They emerged from the renowned Winans family, known for their significant contributions to gospel music. The duo first gained public attention in 1982 as part of The PTL Singers on the Christian television show The PTL Club, where they recorded their debut album, “Lord Lift Us Up,” showcasing their harmonious vocals and spiritual messages. Their transition to a professional duo began in 1987 when they signed with Sparrow Records, leading to the release of their self-titled album, which featured the hit single “I.O.U. Me,” earning them Grammy nominations and establishing their presence in the music industry.

Their second album, “Heaven,” released in 1988, solidified their status as gospel music pioneers, becoming the first Gospel album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard sales charts. The album produced several R&B hits, including the chart-topping singles “Lost Without You” and “Celebrate New Life,” featuring Whitney Houston.
