Recognized as the most commercially successful R&B group of all time by the RIAA, Boyz II Men achieved significant commercial success with their debut album, Cooleyhighharmony, released in 1991. The album sold over nine million copies and earned them a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1992. Their 1992 single, ‘End of the Road,’ became a massive hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for a then-record 13 consecutive weeks. Boyz II Men continued to set industry records, first with ‘I’ll Make Love to You’ from their 1994 album II, which spent 14 weeks at number one, and then with ‘One Sweet Day’ featuring Mariah Carey in 1995, which dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for an unprecedented 16 weeks.
They continued to collaborate with high-profile artists, featuring on Charlie Puth’s ‘If You Leave Me Now’ and Take That’s ‘Love Ain’t Here Anymore’ in 2018. That same year, Boyz II Men performed at the NFL 20182019 season kickoff and made multiple appearances on Dancing with the Stars, alongside a collaborative concert ‘Boyz II Men with DIVAS’ in 2018. In 2019, they announced an extensive Asia Tour and appeared on the ABC comedy series Schooled. Their recent activities include performing the national anthem at the Fiesta Bowl in 2022 and triumphing as the ‘Buffalos’ on The Masked Singer in 2024, demonstrating their continued relevance and broad appeal.
Also in 2024, the group was featured on ‘A Philly Special Christmas Party,’ and they are set to perform with Blackswan in ‘KPopped’ in 2025, further showcasing their versatile engagement across diverse entertainment platforms.
