Chase Wright

Chase Wright, born August 26, 1996, in Lebanon, Indiana, developed an early connection to music through his mother, a trumpet player and music teacher, and his country music-loving grandparents. Despite music being present in his upbringing, Wright initially pursued athletics and academics, becoming a track star at DePauw University where he studied Economics. His musical journey took a formal turn during his freshman year of college, inspired by artists picking up instruments later in life. He began teaching himself guitar using online resources, initially playing a garage sale guitar.

His early musical performances included gigs in college town bars with a fraternity brother, where he gained initial stage experience. This period of developing his craft eventually led to a pivot from a potential career in finance. While interning at a Fortune 500 company, Wright realized his desire for an entrepreneurial path and began focusing on his music. He actively used social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram to share cover videos and photos, which ultimately caught the attention of Morris Higham Management. This led to his first visit to Nashville in May 2018, where he secured a publishing deal and began co-writing songs.

Wright’s career progression includes significant milestones such as the release of his debut album, “Intertwined,” in 2021, and his sophomore album, “LETTING GO,” on September 6, 2024. His music has garnered over 350 million streams. He has been recognized as a Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch, a SiriusXM Highway Find, and a Pandora Artist to Watch. His songs “Wish You’d Miss Me” and “Lying with You” have contributed to his recognition, with “Why Should We” accumulating over 20 million spins on Spotify and being featured on their Hot Country Playlist. He continues to perform, including his “Find Myself Tour” with dates in October and November.
