Christy Nockels is a prominent American singer-songwriter known for her impactful contributions to contemporary Christian music. She began her musical journey in the mid-1990s as part of the duo Sons & Daughters, alongside her husband Nathan Nockels. Their debut album, “Holy Roar,” released in 1996, garnered attention and led to their invitation to the first Passion Conference in 1997, marking a significant milestone in their early career. In 1998, Christy and Nathan transitioned to Nashville, where they formed the band Watermark under Rocketown Records, owned by Michael W. Smith.
