Dylan Sinclair

Dylan Sinclair released his debut EP, ‘Red Like Crimson,’ in 2018, immediately drawing attention from the industry, notably leading to Grammy-nominated producer Jordon Manswell becoming his manager. This initial project set the stage for Sinclair’s distinct modern take on neo-soul, quickly establishing him as a compelling new voice in R&B. Building on this momentum, Sinclair released his first full-length album, ‘Proverb,’ in 2020, which garnered significant critical acclaim and earned him a Juno Award nomination for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year in 2021. The same year, he was recognized with a SOCAN Black Canadian Music Award.

He continued to expand his discography with the EP ‘3511’ in 2021, followed by his second album, ‘No Longer in the Suburbs,’ in 2022. A deluxe version of the album was released later that year, and it was subsequently longlisted for the prestigious 2023 Polaris Music Prize. Throughout this period, Sinclair cultivated high-profile collaborations with notable R&B artists including Savannah Ré, DESTIN CONRAD, and Jvck James, solidifying his presence within the contemporary R&B landscape. Sinclair’s artistic journey continued with extensive touring, including engagements alongside artists such as Coco Jones.

In 2024, he released the album ‘FOR THE BOY IN ME,’ which promptly received a Juno Award nomination for Contemporary R&B Recording Of The Year, further cementing his reputation for vulnerable lyricism and soulful melodies. Looking ahead, Dylan Sinclair is set to release his EP ‘Motherland Sessions (Live)’ in 2025. His body of work consistently showcases a deep grounding in R&B/Soul, highlighting his ability to connect with audiences through authentic storytelling and rich musicality, establishing him as a significant and evolving talent in Canadian music and beyond.
