Dylan Sinclair

Born on June 15, 2001, in Toronto, Ontario, Dylan Sinclair began cultivating his musical talents at a young age, singing in church from just four years old. By the age of 15, inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, and Musiq Soulchild, he started writing and recording his own songs. His early dedication led to the release of his debut EP, “Red Like Crimson,” in 2018. This project garnered attention, notably from Grammy-nominated producer Jordon Manswell, who subsequently became his manager.

Sinclair’s career advanced with the release of his first full-length album, “Proverb,” in 2020, which earned a Juno Award nomination for Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of the Year in 2021. He continued to build his discography with the EP “3511” in 2021 and his second album, “No Longer in the Suburbs,” in 2022. The deluxe version of this album was released later that year and was longlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize. Throughout his career, Sinclair has collaborated with several notable R&B artists, including Savannah Ré, DESTIN CONRAD, and Jvck James, further establishing his presence in the contemporary R&B scene.

His artistic journey includes touring with artists like Coco Jones and releasing a steady stream of singles and projects. Recent releases include “FOR THE BOY IN ME” in 2024, which received a Juno Award nomination for Contemporary R&B Recording Of The Year, and “Motherland Sessions (Live) – EP” in 2025. Dylan Sinclair’s work consistently showcases his R&B/Soul genre roots, combining vulnerable lyricism with soulful melodies, solidifying his reputation as a significant voice in Canadian music.
