Colin Stetson

Colin Stetson is an American saxophonist, multireedist, and composer known for his distinctive instrumental techniques and collaborations across various musical genres and film. He engages audiences globally with his unique performances and compositions. After joining critically acclaimed indie rock band Arcade Fire as a touring and recording member in 2007, Colin Stetson contributed his distinctive multi-reed work to their albums Neon Bible (2007), The Suburbs (2010), and Reflektor (2013). A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music in 1997, Stetson’s early career saw him co-found the band Transmission, which released their album Tiny Beast in 2002.

His blend of technical virtuosity, advanced circular breathing, and genre-spanning collaborations firmly establishes him as an innovative and indispensable force in contemporary music and cinematic scoring.
