Deap Vally

Deap Vally established themselves as a dynamic rock duo, achieving chart presence and notable collaborations throughout their active years. After releasing their first single ‘Gonna Make My Own Money’ in July 2012 through Ark Recordings, Deap Vally rapidly established their dynamic presence in the rock scene, making their London debut the same month. The duo quickly signed with Island Records and Communion in August 2012, followed by their track ‘End of the World’ being featured as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1 in October 2012. Their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Sistrionix,’ was recorded at Infrasound Studio with Lars Stalfors, with two of their albums ultimately charting on the UK Albums Chart, underscoring their immediate impact.

In summer 2017, they supported Garbage and Blondie on the Rage and Rapture tour, and a significant collaborative album, ‘Deap Lips,’ with The Flaming Lips, was announced at the end of 2019. The duo continued to release new material, including the ‘Digital Dream’ EP on February 26, 2021, and the ‘American Cockroach’ EP on June 18, 2021. Their third album, ‘Marriage,’ followed on November 19, 2021. In September 2023, Deap Vally announced their decision to disband, concluding their impactful career with a farewell tour in the first half of 2024.

This period included the release of their re-recorded debut album, ‘Sistrionix 2.0,’ on February 1, 2024, via their own label, Deap Vally Records, culminating in their final performance in Bristol, England, on June 9, 2024.
