Flamy Grant grew up steeped in the sounds of Appalachia, and that musical heritage became the bedrock of her artistry long before a wig ever touched the stage. From Asheville, North Carolina, she emerged as a trailblazing Americana singer and songwriter, folding folk traditions, bold drag artistry, and fearless storytelling into a single persona she describes as out to slay shame and serve looks.

The breakthrough came in 2023, when her debut album “Bible Belt Baby” reached #1 on the iTunes Christian music charts — a drag first that drew headlines from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, and People. Blistering vocals and sharp songwriting carried her from Los Angeles to London, from New York to the Netherlands, amassing more than 1.5 million streams across digital platforms.

The momentum kept building. Her sophomore record “CHURCH” landed at #8 on the iTunes Country charts and earned a 2026 International Folk Music Award nomination for Best Album. She won the 2023 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Songwriting competition, was named Audience Favorite at the 2025 Asheville Fringe Arts Festival, and received a Drag Royalty nomination at the 2024 Queerty Awards.
