Fourtwnty established their presence in the Indonesian music industry with the release of their debut studio album, ‘Lelaku,’ in 2015. The folk-pop band, comprised of Ari Lesmana, Nuwi, Roby Satria, Andi Armand, Primandha Ridho, and Ryan Maulana, quickly gained national recognition for their distinctive sound, which blends rock, pop, folk, reggae, and hip-hop influences. A pivotal moment in their career arrived in 2017 when their track ‘Zona Nyaman’ was selected for the soundtrack of the critically acclaimed film ‘Filosofi Kopi 2: Ben & Jody,’ significantly expanding their audience reach. This success was followed by their second studio album, ‘Ego & fungsi otak,’ in 2018, which earned Fourtwnty the prestigious Indonesian Choice Award for Newcomer of the Year, solidifying their status as a leading voice in contemporary Indonesian music.

Building on their early achievements, Fourtwnty continued to evolve their sound and engage their growing fanbase. In 2019, they released the single ‘Kusut,’ demonstrating their consistent output. The band further showcased their live performance prowess with the release of their live album, ‘Live at SRN: Pop Party,’ in 2021. That same year, their track ‘Kursi goyang’ was featured in the third installment of the popular ‘Filosofi Kopi’ film series, underscoring their continued relevance in cinema soundtracks.
