Đông Nhi

Đông Nhi, born Mai Hồng Ngọc, is a prominent figure in the Vietnamese music industry, celebrated for her captivating vocals and magnetic stage presence. Raised in Ho Chi Minh City, she pursued her education at Marie Curie High School before embarking on her journey as a singer.

Nhi’s early projects, including “The First Step” (2009), “The Singer” (2012), “Sau Moi Giac Mo” (2012), and “I Wanna Dance” (2013), garnered critical acclaim and numerous awards, laying the foundation for her stellar career. Throughout her journey, Nhi has been the recipient of various prestigious awards, including Favorite Female Singer at the Zing Music Awards for six consecutive years from 2011 to 2016, and Ballad Female Singer at the Golden Apricot Blossom Awards three times in a row.

Her talent has not gone unnoticed internationally, with accolades such as Asia’s Best Vietnamese Singer at MAMA and South East Asia’s Best Singer at the 2016 MTV EMAs.
