Hujan

Hujan has established itself as a prominent Malaysian indie rock band, known for its consistent musical output and impactful performances across various platforms. After their breakthrough with the single ‘Pagi Yang Gelap’ gaining significant radio airplay on indie stations like X FM in 2007, Hujan went on to establish itself as a prominent Malaysian indie rock band. Founded in 2005 by vocalist Noh Salleh and lead guitarist AG Coco, the band quickly built a dedicated fanbase known as ‘Raingers’ following early demos uploaded to Myspace and their debut live performance on February 17, 2006, at Malam Pesta Gagalis Ubu in Lost Generation Space. In 2007, Hujan released two EPs, ‘1, 2, 3, Go!’ and ‘Check Check Rock Rock,’ through the independent record label Noh Phrofile Enterprise.

Most recently, Hujan has continued to make significant live appearances, including participation in the Kuala Lumpur Bike Show in 2023 and a performance at the Singapore Rockfest, also in 2023. These engagements, alongside their acclaimed ‘Hujan 16 Tahun’ series of concerts, demonstrate their ongoing commitment to live performance and their active presence in major regional festivals. With a robust discography and a strong performance record, Hujan remains a powerhouse in the Malaysian music industry, consistently delivering impactful musical experiences to a devoted audience.
