Jo Dee Messina

Jo Dee Messina is a multi-platinum-selling country music artist known for her chart-topping singles and enduring career. After her self-titled debut album in 1996 included the RIAA Gold-certified single ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California,’ which peaked at number two on the country charts, two-time Grammy Award nominee Jo Dee Messina went on to build a multi-platinum-selling career. She initially signed with RCA Records before moving to Curb Records in 1995, where she collaborated with producers Byron Gallimore and Tim McGraw. Messina’s career saw a significant breakthrough with her 1998 album, ‘I’m Alright,’ which produced three consecutive number-one country hits: ‘Bye, Bye,’ ‘I’m Alright,’ and ‘Stand Beside Me.’ This album achieved double-platinum certification by 1999, selling over two million copies.

This highly anticipated album was subsequently released in 2014 on her own Dreambound Records label, granting her creative autonomy.
