Kip Moore is an American country music singer-songwriter known for his chart-topping hits and international touring, recently honored with the International Artist Achievement Award. After relocating to Nashville, Tennessee in 2004 and securing a publishing deal with the assistance of songwriter and producer Brett James, Kip Moore spent eight years refining his craft before signing with MCA Nashville. His debut single, ‘Mary Was the Marrying Kind,’ peaked at number 45 on the country singles charts, setting the stage for his breakthrough. On September 27, 2011, Moore released ‘Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,’ which subsequently soared to number 1 on the Billboard country charts following the April 2012 release of his debut album, Up All Night.
Moore co-wrote every track on this album, which cemented its status as the most commercially successful debut for a male country artist in both 2012 and 2013. Subsequent singles like ‘Beer Money’ and ‘Hey Pretty Girl’ continued this trajectory, both achieving Top 5 success. Beyond his own recordings, Moore showcased his songwriting prowess by penning ‘All the Way’ and ‘Let’s Fight’ for Thompson Square in 2011, ‘Walking Contradiction’ for James Wesley in 2012, and ‘Cigarette’ for Frankie Ballard in 2016. Moore continued to build on his early triumphs, releasing the album Wild Ones in 2015.
Demonstrating his commitment to giving back, Moore also founded the charity One Heartbeat, supporting philanthropic endeavors alongside his dynamic musical career.
