Kristian Bush

Kristian Bush is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, known for being one half of the acclaimed country music duo Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles. Born on March 14, 1970, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Bush was raised in Sevierville, a town near the Great Smoky Mountains.

Growing up, Bush was exposed to a diverse range of musical genres, including country, rock, pop and folk. He honed his musical skills by playing in local bands throughout his teenage years, before moving to Atlanta to pursue a career in music.

In the early 1990s, Bush formed the folk rock duo Billy Pilgrim with Andrew Hyra. The band recorded three albums and achieved significant critical success, earning praise for their intricate harmonies and introspective lyrics.
