Lanco

Lanco, stylized sometimes in all caps, is an American country music band formed in 2013 and based in Nashville, Tennessee. The band’s name is an abbreviation for “Lancaster and Company,” referencing lead vocalist Brandon Lancaster. The lineup includes Brandon Lancaster on lead vocals, Chandler Baldwin on bass guitar, Jared Hampton on keyboards and banjo, Tim Aven on guitar, and Tripp Howell on drums. Early in their career, Lanco met record producer Jay Joyce at a Keith Urban concert, which led to their signing with his publishing company and subsequently with Arista Nashville. This collaboration resulted in the release of their debut four-song EP, “Extended Play,” on April 15, 2016.

Their career gained significant momentum with the release of their single “Greatest Love Story,” which achieved No. 1 status on both the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts by the end of 2017. This song also featured in the Netflix series “The Ranch” and ABC’s “The Bachelor.” Following this success, Lanco released their debut album, “Hallelujah Nights,” in January 2018, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The band has since continued to tour extensively, sharing stages with notable artists such as Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Dierks Bentley, and Kane Brown. In 2023, Lanco signed with Riser House Records, under which they released the EP “Run, Run, Baby” on October 5, supported by an accompanying Fall tour. They are also preparing for the release of their sophomore album, “We’re Gonna Make It,” in January 2025.
