Lau is a British folk band that formed in 2005. The group consists of Kris Drever on guitar and vocals, Martin Green on accordion, piano, and electronics, and Aidan O’Rourke on fiddle. The band’s name is derived from an Orcadian word meaning “natural light.” Their musical style combines traditional folk elements with experimental and post-rock influences, contributing to their recognition within the folk music scene in both Scotland and England.
