Little Simz

Little Simz achieved significant critical acclaim with her third album, Grey Area, released in 2019, which earned a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination and secured Best Album wins at both the Ivor Novello Awards and the NME Awards. This success built upon her independent music career, which began with her debut studio album, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons, released in 2015. She followed this with her second album, Stillness in Wonderland, in 2016. In parallel, Little Simz had already embarked on an acting path, starring as Vicky in the BBC children’s series Spirit Warriors in 2010 and later as Meleka in the E4 series Youngers.

Building on her musical momentum, Little Simz toured extensively, supporting acclaimed artists such as Nas, Lauryn Hill, and Kehlani in 2016. The following year, she opened for Gorillaz on their Humanz Tour and was featured on their track ‘Garage Palace’ in 2017. In 2020, she released the EP Drop 6. Her fourth album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, launched in 2021, soared to number 4 on the UK album charts.

Demonstrating her formidable live presence, she captivated audiences with a performance on the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2024. Little Simz kicked off 2024 with the release of her latest EP, Drop 7. The same year, she showcased her collaborative range by featuring on Coldplay’s single ‘We Pray.’ Looking ahead, she has announced her highly anticipated sixth studio album, Lotus, slated for release in 2025, continuing to push artistic boundaries and captivate a global audience.
