Lucie Silvas

Lucie Silvas is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter, known for charting in the U.K. and writing songs for artists such as Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire. After signing with Mercury Records in 2003, Lucie Silvas released her full-length debut album, ‘Breathe In,’ in 2004, achieving significant international success by reaching number one in the Netherlands and peaking at number 11 in the U.K. Prior to this breakthrough, Silvas had already demonstrated her talent by working as a background singer for Gary Barlow of Take That, and secured her first record deal with EMI imprint Chrysalis Records in 2000, which led to the release of her debut single ‘It’s Too Late.’ Following her time at Chrysalis, Silvas focused on her songwriting craft, contributing to tracks for artists such as Liberty X and Will Young.

Silvas released her third solo album, ‘E.G.O.,’ in 2018 under her Furthestpoint label, featuring collaborations with JD McPherson, Tenille Townes, and Natalie Hemby. The album debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and number 35 on the Independent Albums chart, showcasing her continued artistic evolution and commercial appeal. In 2021, she expanded her collaborative efforts by releasing the single ‘Cool Down’ with Grammy-winner Sheryl Crow, and ‘We Don’t Know We’re Living’ alongside Brandi Carlile and Joy Oladokun, further solidifying her reputation as a highly sought-after artist and songwriter.
