Matt Nathanson is a singer-songwriter recognized for his blend of folk and rock & roll, with a career spanning three decades and multiple hit songs. After releasing his debut album ‘Please’ in 1993, Matt Nathanson went on to build a three-decade career defined by his unique blend of folk and rock & roll. Nathansons early independent releases included the fully acoustic album ‘Ernst’ in 1997, followed by ‘Still Waiting for Spring’ in 1999, which marked his entry into television placements with his song ‘Loud’ featured on Dawson’s Creek. His major-label debut, ‘Beneath These Fireworks,’ arrived in 2003, featuring contributions from acclaimed musicians Matt Chamberlain and Glen Phillips.

Building on this success, Nathanson’s 2013 album, ‘Last of the Great Pretenders,’ reached an impressive No. 16 on the Billboard Top 200. He performed ‘Mission Bells’ on The Jay Leno Show in 2013 and appeared on That Metal Show, Season 13, Episode 5 in 2014. That year, he embarked on a co-headlining tour with Gavin DeGraw and traveled to Peru with Starkey Hearing Technologies for a hearing mission.

His 2015 album, ‘Show Me Your Fangs,’ followed, and he toured alongside prominent acts Train and The Fray. The albums track ‘Giants’ was later adopted as the opening music for the 2016 World Series of Poker on ESPN. Nathanson also made appearances on The Bachelor (U.S. TV series) in 2012 and performed ‘Bill Murray’ at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding on the show in 2016.

His 12th studio album, ‘Boston Accent,’ produced by Butch Walker, arrived in 2022. Nathanson maintains an active touring schedule, delivering performances celebrated for their personal anecdotes and humor.
