Their collaborative efforts include projects with Upperroom and Elevation Worship, with the album “Old Church Basement” (2021) becoming a commercial and critical success. This album featured popular songs such as “Jireh,” “Talking to Jesus,” and “Wait on You,” which reached high positions on Christian and Gospel charts. The collective has received multiple accolades across the American music industry, including Grammy Awards, GMA Dove Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and a Soul Train Music Award, solidifying their impact on the genre.
Maverick City Music has consistently expanded its musical repertoire with Spanish-language albums like “Como En El Cielo” (2021) and “Simple Adoración” (2022), as well as holiday-themed EPs. Their tours, such as the “Welcome to Maverick City Tour” (2021) and the “Kingdom Tour” with Kirk Franklin (2022), have reached diverse audiences. The collective has maintained an active presence, releasing new music and undertaking tours, continuing their commitment to authentic worship and community building in the Christian music landscape. In 2025, members Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine announced their departure to focus on individual ministries, marking a new chapter for the collective.
