Melissa Manchester is an accomplished singer-songwriter and actress known for her significant contributions to pop and adult contemporary music, alongside her roles in television and film. After earning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Female Vocal Performance in 1983 for her hit song ‘You Should Hear How She Talks About You,’ which reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, Melissa Manchester went on to solidify her status as an acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress. Manchester’s solo career began with her debut album, ‘Home to Myself,’ in 1973. Her 1975 album, ‘Melissa,’ produced her first top-ten hit, ‘Midnight Blue,’ which remained on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 17 weeks.
