Joey McIntyre is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and actor, recognized as the youngest member of the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block and for his diverse career across music, television, film, and Broadway. After joining the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block in 1985, Joey McIntyre quickly rose to global stardom as the group’s youngest member. The band achieved massive commercial success, earning two number-one albums on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
10 on the Billboard Hot 100. He followed with solo albums ‘Meet Joe Mac’ (2001) and ‘8:09’ (2004). Simultaneously diversifying into acting, he made his film debut in The Fantasticks (2000) and starred as a main cast member in Boston Public (20022003). Expanding his stage presence, McIntyre made his Broadway debut as Fiyero in Wicked (20042005) and finished third on the first season of Dancing with the Stars in 2005.
