Singer-songwriter Michael Bublé is known worldwide for his silky-smooth vocals, onstage charisma, and for being the modern face of pop standards. A multi-Grammy Award-winner with a string of chart-topping albums, the Canadian-Italian is one of the most successful musical artists of his era. Bublé began performing at nightclubs and events during his teens, and went on to win the Canadian Youth Talent Search. He began filling in as an occasional performer on Vicki Gabereau’s CTV talk show, and self-financed some early records in his twenties. While performing at a wedding, Bublé caught the attention of producer and record executive David Foster, who would eventually produce his self-titled debut commercial album.
The record hit the Top 10 in several countries worldwide in 2003, and he was later named New Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards. In 2005, he released the follow-up album It’s Time, which achieved even greater commercial success and cemented him as one of the foremost artists of the decade. Bublé has to date released eight studio albums, including multiple No. 1s in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and throughout Europe.
In addition to his performances of American standards, he is particularly known for his festive records including the album Christmas and the EPs Let It Snow! and A Holiday Gift for You, and has earned platinum certification for original songs including Haven’t Met You Met, Everything and Home. A popular and widely admired media personality, Bublé has appeared and performed on shows such as the Late Show with David Letterman, Dancing with the Stars, Oprah and The Voice, and has been a guest judge on Australian Idol and America’s Got Talent. He has won four Grammy Awards, 14 Juno Awards, an American Music Award, and has earned dozens of other major wins and nominations worldwide.
