About

No Mercy is a German-based pop band formed by American singers Marty Cintron and twin brothers Ariel and Gabriel Hernández. The group was brought together in Germany by producer Frank Farian. In 1995, No Mercy released “Missing,” a cover of Everything but the Girl’s 1994 hit. Their debut album, “My Promise,” was released on October 21, 1996, in Europe and Australia, where it achieved double platinum sales accreditation. The album was released a week later in the U.S. as a self-titled album, “No Mercy.” This album featured internationally popular singles such as “Where Do You Go,” a cover of La Bouche’s 1995 song, and “When I Die,” a revival of a Real Milli Vanilli original track. Both songs achieved significant chart success, with “Where Do You Go” reaching top 5 positions in various countries and earning platinum and gold certifications.

Following their debut, No Mercy released “Please Don’t Go” in 1997, which entered the top 5 in Austria and the U.K. They also released a re-worked version of Exile’s 1978 song “Kiss You All Over,” which saw moderate success. Their second album, “More,” was released in October 1998, featuring singles like “Hello How Are You,” “More than a Feeling,” and “Tu Amor.” While not as commercially successful as “My Promise,” “More” still reached top 10 positions in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. The band continued to release music, including the single “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” in 2002, featuring guitarist Al Di Meola. Their third album, “Day By Day,” was released in October 2007, and they continued with singles like “Shed My Skin” in 2011 and “Day by Day 2015.” Marty Cintron, the lead vocalist, continues to perform in Europe under the No Mercy name.
