No Mercy

No Mercy is a pop and dance music group known for their high-energy performances and blend of soul, R&B, and Latin influences, with international success in the 1990s. After releasing their debut album My Promise, which achieved double platinum sales accreditation in Australia and spawned international hit singles, No Mercy established themselves as a leading force in 90s pop and dance music. Formed in 1995 when American singers Marty Cintron, Ariel Hernández, and Gabriel Hernández were brought together in Germany by producer Frank Farian, the group quickly launched with their cover of ‘Missing’ the same year. Their highly successful debut album, My Promise, was released on October 21, 1996, in Europe and Australia, followed by a self-titled release, No Mercy, a week later in the U.S.

This album featured globally recognized singles such as ‘Where Do You Go,’ which reached top 5 positions in various countries and earned platinum and gold certifications in 1996, and ‘When I Die,’ which achieved similar chart success and certifications in 1997. Following their initial breakthrough, No Mercy continued their chart presence in 1997 with the single ‘Please Don’t Go,’ entering the top 5 in both Austria and the U.K. They also released a re-worked version of Exile’s ‘Kiss You All Over,’ which saw moderate international success. The group’s second studio album, More, was released in October 1998, featuring singles including ‘Hello How Are You,’ ‘More than a Feeling,’ and ‘Tu Amor.’ Demonstrating continued European appeal, More reached top 10 positions in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Today, lead vocalist Marty Cintron continues to perform extensively across Europe under the No Mercy name, maintaining the group’s high-energy legacy and blend of soul, R&B, and Latin influences for audiences worldwide.
