Nutsa Buzaladze, born on January 28, 1997, in Tbilisi, Georgia, began her musical journey at a young age, performing with a children’s group by age five and taking piano lessons starting at eight. Her career gained momentum in 2011 with her participation in ‘Georgia’s Got Talent,’ where she reached the semi-finals. She continued to hone her skills through various national and international competitions, such as the New Wave Music Festival in Jūrmala, Latvia, which she won in 2014. Her early career also included appearances on ‘The Voice of Turkey,’ ‘Two Stars Georgia,’ and the Georgian versions of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ and ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ These experiences provided a foundation for her future endeavors, allowing her to develop her stage presence and connect with diverse audiences.
In 2019, Nutsa released her debut album, ‘Nutsa22,’ which featured a collection of Georgian songs and original English compositions. The album’s success was significantly driven by her hit song ‘Gelodebi,’ leading to a national tour with her live band. Her international profile continued to rise with her participation in ‘American Idol’ in 2023, where she achieved a top 12 finish and performed a duet with Kylie Minogue. Following her time on ‘American Idol,’ she represented Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with her song ‘Firefighter.’ She successfully qualified for the Grand Final, marking Georgia’s first qualification since 2016, and finished in 21st place overall. Residing in Dubai as of 2024, she has also performed at Expo 2020, the Dubai National Theatre, and the Dubai Opera, expanding her global reach.
