Peter Furler is an accomplished Australian musician, songwriter, producer, and record executive, renowned for his pivotal role as the co-founder and former lead vocalist of the Christian rock band Newsboys. He began his musical journey in 1985, forming Newsboys with friends George Perdikis, Sean Taylor, and John James. Initially the band’s drummer, Furler transitioned to lead vocalist in 1997, following John James’s departure. In 1999, Furler expanded his influence in the music industry by co-founding Inpop Records with fellow Australians Dale Bray and Wes Campbell.
