Queen Naija has established herself as a prominent R&B singer and media personality, known for her candid storytelling and consistent chart presence. After her breakout single ‘Medicine’ debuted in December 2017, quickly reaching the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, Queen Naija went on to establish herself as a prominent R&B singer and media personality. The track’s immediate success, later earning a double platinum certification from the RIAA, led to her signing with Capitol Records in April 2018. Prior to her musical breakthrough, Queen Naija had an initial foray into the entertainment industry, appearing on the thirteenth season of American Idol in 2014 where she reached the Hollywood round.

Her highly anticipated debut studio album, ‘Missunderstood,’ launched in October 2020, further solidified her position within the R&B genre. The album, which peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200, included lead singles ‘Pack Lite’ and ‘Lie to Me’ featuring Lil Durk, and showcased collaborations with artists such as Jacquees and Ari Lennox.
