Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin has transitioned from a Latin pop icon to an influential advocate, leveraging his global platform to champion social causes and a diverse entertainment career across music, film, and theater. After the release of his third album, ‘A Medio Vivir,’ in 1995, Ricky Martin achieved his first international success with the hit single ‘María,’ which topped charts in 20 countries and sold over five million physical copies worldwide. This pivotal moment led to a global tour and his Broadway debut in ‘Les Misérables’ in 1996. Martin began his career as a member of the boy band Menudo, making his recording debut on the 1984 album ‘Evolución’ and releasing 11 albums with the group until 1989, during which he also served as a UNICEF ambassador.
