RJD2, the stage name of Ramble Jon Krohn, is a celebrated DJ and multi-instrumentalist based in Philadelphia. His professional journey began in 1993, and he quickly gained recognition for his innovative approach to music production. In 2002, he signed with Definitive Jux and released his debut album, “Deadringer,” which was met with critical acclaim and established him as a prominent figure in the hip-hop and electronic music scenes. This album showcased his unique ability to blend various genres, setting the stage for his future successes.

Following the success of his debut, RJD2 released the highly praised “Since We Last Spoke” in 2004, further solidifying his reputation as a masterful producer. His work on this album highlighted his skill in combining synthetic sounds with live instrumentation, creating a rich auditory experience.
