Rupee, born Rupert Clarke, is a Barbadian soca musician renowned for his international hit “Tempted to Touch,” and his work with notable artists like Shaggy and Daddy Yankee. He continues to perform and record, bringing his unique blend of soca, hip-hop, and R&B to global audiences. After winning the prestigious Richard Stoute Teen Talent Competition in 1993, Rupee launched his professional music career. In 1997, he joined the Barbadian reggae group Coalishun, further honing his craft before embarking on a solo career.

Today, Rupee remains an active and influential force in music. He continues to perform and record, captivating global audiences with his distinctive blend of soca, hip-hop, and R&B.
